Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Policy Statement


UNICONS is a professional civil building and engineering company operating on sites throughout Vietnam.


UNICONS is committed to operating in total compliance with Vietnamese Legislation and with other requirements of our clients that relate to our OH&S hazards.

 

It is the policy of UNICONS that work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner at all our work places to prevent of injury and ill health and continual improvement in OH&S management and OH&S performance.


Human resource within the UNICONS organization is recognized as our most valuable asset. We regard safety as our 1st priority and consider that it is the responsibility of UNICONS to ensure that workplace conditions in no way jeopardize the health and safety of our employees.

 

Safety in the company’s operations is developed in a comprehensive manner by close attention to work methods, equipment and by the motivation and training of all our employees. Safety at all our workplaces is carried out by setting standards and working together with our clients and other contractors to implement acceptable work practices.

 

UNICONS policy is communicated to all persons working under our control and including interested parties with the intent that they are made aware of their individual OH&S obligations and to involve all our workforces in the implementation, measuring and continual improvement of safe work practice.

 

Responsibility and involvement at all levels mean employee ownership of safety and the desire for effective implementation. No employee of UNICONS is required to work in an unsafe workplace.

 

Safety is a responsibility of all persons. However the standard will be set by all UNICONS management staff for a safe environment in which to work. Safety issues put into practice by UNICONS are practical, effective and enforced.

 

This policy shall be reviewed for every year to ensure that it remains relevant and appropriate to the corporate mangement system.
